During January, 2009 the American Readers Theatre collaborated with the Delaware Valley School District to carry on a ten week student project that focused on the work of Edgar Allan Poe. The project culuminated in an afternoon reading of "The Raven" and other Poe classics involving students of the Delaware Middle School. Students from the Joffrey Ballet School of New York City performed a piece choreographed and directed by ART board member and President John Magnus.
