RICHARD L. SNYDER
 
 Richard L. Snyder has served as an Honorary Life Director of the National Multiple Sclerosis Society (USA) since 2002.  He served as chairman of the Board of Directors of the Society from 1994 until 1998.  On the NMSS Board from 1981 to 2002, he at various times served as treasurer and chairman of the Finance Committee, secretary, and chairman of the Research and Medical Programs Committee.   From 1997 to 2002 he served on the Board of the Multiple Sclerosis International Federation, London, England.  His other civic activities have included serving on the Boards of the Philippine-American Chamber of Commerce, the Pike County (Pennsylvania) Conservation District, the New York Urban League, and the Sutton Area Community Association.  He has served on the Board of Norwood Financial Corp. (Wayne Bank) since 2000, the Board of Gutenberg, Inc. since 2001, and the Board of Pinchot Institute for Conservation from 1998 to 2004.  He has served as vice-president of the Historic Preservation Trust of Pike County and has chaired their Milford Enhancement Committee since its founding in 1997.  He served on the Building Committee of the Pike County Public Library.
 Born in Carlisle, Pennsylvania, Snyder received his Bachelor of Science degree, magna cum laude, from The Pennsylvania State University in 1961.  A certified public accountant, he served in various executive management positions until 1991 when he retired from Philip Morris International where he was executive vice president, Europe-Middle East-Africa.  He now resides in Milford, Pennsylvania, where he breeds llamas.
